Lots of changes coming the I CARE House way. SRU has agreed to transfer the deed and finances so that the I CARE House will be an independent organization. Might happen as early as March 2010. There is LOTS that needs to be done -- prayers, rolling up sleeves, volunteering, fund raising, LOTS -- and we will need eve...ryone who has ever laid a hand on the place to help. ICARE House blog 1: Welcome!!!

The I CARE House is a nonprofit community center that is located in the courtside neighborhood in New Castle, PA. ICH serves many publics, including children, youth, and adults in many capacities. ICH offers many different programs, including homework assistance, educational club activities, senior programming, and a place for the community to organize their monthly neighborhood organization meetings. this blog will serve as place for us to keep everyone updated on what is going on at the ICH, as well as in the our surrounding community.
